About Amanda

Hi, My name is Amanda and I am 29. I have been watching kids since I was a freshman in high school in 2008. My first position was watching a family friends toddler who was 6 months old. I would watch him 4 days a week for 6 hours. The family ended up moving after 2 years of work. After that I watch 2 elementary school girls for 2 years. I would pick them up from school and watch them until there mom came home around 7 p.m. I have completed at least 50+ date night sitters and last minute one time sitter shifts. I went to school to become a medical assistant and was top of my class. I have been working in family practice for 3 years and have first aid training. I am BLS certified. I also have a 7-year-old daughter who is on the spectrum. Over the last 2 years every weekend my daughter has had 3-5 7-year-old over for play dates that I have watch as well. Due to moving to Huffman from Austin I am now currently looking for a new job one that I can work while my daughter is at school.
