About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as loving, honest, caring & bubbly. I like working with kids because I have always had a soft spot for youth & love being with them. It is so rewarding watching them grasp new concepts & learn every day. I'm looking for a job that is with people who care about their children first, everything else comes after. A loving, nurturing, caring home. I started working with kids when I was 17 & still in high school. I got my first job at a daycare center & loved every moment. In my spare time, I like to as corny as it sounds, I love being my kids. Watching them grow is the joy of my entire life. One thing you should know about me is I can follow a schedule well, but I also love the opportunity to stop & deviate away from a schedule if it is what's best for the kids. Sometimes stopping to "smell the roses" is what everyone needs. My skills include teaching, showing kindness & love, being a friend.
