About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda and I graduated in 2016 with a BA in Psychology and a BA in Art Therapy. I love the creative arts and motivating others to express themselves through different creative means of art, music, dance, and drama. I have taken courses involving child care such as Child Development, Adolescent Psychology, Guiding Children Behavior and I had a semester internship at a daycare working with 3 and 4-year-olds. I previously worked at a summer camp with ages 4-14 participating in outdoor sport activities along with crafts. My career background is as an Activity Leader at a senior day care program. My job was to plan activities that are stimulating, beneficial and fun! I love doing art therapy, leading fitness classes and spending time listening and learning with the seniors. I am looking for part-time or occasional work.
