About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda, and I have six years of experience working with children aged 3 to 13. Most of this experience occurred in a camp environment, where I held multiple leadership positions beyond the standard counselor-- including sports and activities director. These positions not only required me to plan age appropriate sports/activities for various age groups, but also required me to remain active with the children for up to eight hours a day. I genuinely enjoy remaining active with the children, and I bring a passion for education to the table as well. I am a recent graduate from Ursinus College where I majored in both History and Educational Studies. While I did not earn state certification to teach, I have plenty of coursework experience. To this extent, I can offer assistance with online learning and other homework as well. I am also RedCross CPR/First Aid certified and I have all of the necessary clearances to work with children!
