About Amanda

Hi there! My name is Amanda, thank you for stopping by my page! In three words, I would describe myself as a leader, compassionate, and adventurous. I love organizing fun activities for the children in my life. Over the summer, some of our highlights were taking a camping trip on my family creek property, visiting the beach, having a lake day at Trillium Lake and swimming at our secret river spot. I am currently a nanny for two awesome kids Monday through Thursday, and occasionally babysit some little ones (ages 1 & 4) on the weekends. I love being able to spend so much time with children, they are a huge part of my life. Along with the little ones I care for, I have an 10-year-old sister and a 13-year-old brother whom I am very close with and take care of often. I hear frequently that I am a natural with kids. :) I have babysat for about 8 years and been a nanny for the same family for 3 years. In my opinion, the most important aspect of child care is keeping the kids safe and happy. I strive to create a positive, fun, home-like environment for the little ones I am with and love building relationships with their parents as well. I am currently looking for a 4-5 day/week (full day) nanny position to begin in April 2016 after I finish up at school. I am comfortable with babies and children of all ages.
