About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda. Caring for others has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My grandmother worked in a nursing home, and growing up I often accompanied her and learned the importance of treating every person with kindness, dignity, and patience. More recently, I've helped care for my grandfather, who has dementia, assisting with companionship, meal preparation, household tasks, and making sure he has what he needs each day. After homeschooling my children for many years, I now have the flexibility to dedicate my time to helping other families. I genuinely enjoy making life a little easier-whether that's providing companionship, helping around the house, organizing, running errands, or simply being someone families can depend on. In my free time I enjoy crocheting, sewing, and other creative hobbies. Families describe me as calm, dependable, patient, and compassionate.
