About Amanda

I am trained and certified as a paraprofessional for severely handicapped individuals. I know how to operate a hoyer lift, as well as most other handicapped equipment. I am in shape and fairly strong, which allows me the ability to lift/transfer those who need assistance. My previous work experience is in pediatrics, however, I have experience with three handicapped family members - my adult sister and both of my parents. I am very kind, patient, and gentle. I tend to make bonds very easily and quickly, which makes me a wonderful companion. I also love to cook, and I'm a very tidy/clean person. I look forward to meeting you!
