About Amanda

I have grown up with animals my entire life. Starting out with dogs, chinchilla's and fish. Caring for animals has been my life-long ambition and am currently a pre-veterinary student studying genetics at Michigan State University. In addition to caring for my personal pets, I volunteer at I Heart Animals pet rescue caring for puppies and volunteer at school with large animals. I also have experience working in pet boarding and grooming, in addition to pet sitting. I plan to pursue my interest in veterinary medicine and apply to vet-school in the future. This summer, I am working in a local veterinary clinic. Currently, my animal family includes one elderly Labrador retriever, a German shepherd, and a Labrador retriever puppy.
