About Amanda

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my passion for education. With seven years of experience as a Certified Teacher, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math, English, Science, History, and essential study skills. I believe in fostering a love for learning by building confidence rather than relying on rote memorization. By actively observing how students interact with new material, I adapt my methods (using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions) to suit their specific needs. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I prioritize clear, open communication to ensure we are always working as a collaborative team. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing a student's "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I truly look forward to supporting your child's academic journey and celebrating their successes together.
