About Amanda

This is my 11th year teaching elementary school! I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd and 5th grade. I have also worked in special education with students diagnosed with Autism. I love working with kids of all ages. I am kind, patient, and fun! Teaching kids how to read and write and watching them learn and grow while having fun is the most rewarding feeling! I'm looking for a job that allows me to either tutor and/or nanny children this summer. I have been a nanny, tutor, behavioral interventionist, and a teacher. I have always worked in the field of education and with children and this is a passion that | plan to pursue for as long as l am able to! I like to go to the beach, paddle board, travel, and spend time with friends and family. When I'm caring for your child, will have fun and they will learn a lot along the way. My skills include helping children to communicate their feelings to me and understanding that all children have different needs.
