About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda and I was born and raised in Rhode Island. My interests include anything involving creativity, nature and animals, and learning new things. Keeping covid-19 in mind, my husband and I mainly stay in our own bubble, avoiding large social gatherings. I have worked as a teacher's assistant at a child care center where I was responsible to assist with classroom instruction and recreational activities while providing support and guidance to students age 0-5 years - but I am comfortable with older children as well! I became CPR and first aid certified while working at the childcare center, and am looking to renew those certifications. I'm currently seeking part or full time work as a nanny/babysitter and I most enjoy engaging children In activities like reading, make believe, arts and crafts, and playing outside. I believe it's important for children to still have fun the old fashioned way. I look forward to hearing from you and to see if we might be a good fit!
