Some of the responsibilities I have taken in the past include preparing educational activities, homework help, planned outings, driving to school/apps, etc. I try and keep things fun and engaging. I'm a huge supporter of "unplugging" and I actively take part in activities such as arts & crafts, experiments, nature outings, reading, and games! Amanda cared for our six year old son during Covid while my husband and I still had to work. She assisted him with his video classes, school work and childcare when the school day was over. She was always prepared with fun learning activities for him to do - whether it be a huge arts and crafts project to a hike in the woods looking at different types of wildlife to front yard sledding races. We loved having Amanda for the year! She has also watched both of our children after the kids went back to school full-time. They always still ask when Amanda is coming back - we are so excited for her move to California but we miss her dearly!
