About Amadis

I like working with kids because they are so free spirited and unconditionally themselves. I love seeing children enjoy their interest freely and encouraging them to always follow their hearts and passions. It is fulfilling to see the youth accomplish their dreams and slowly change the world. I started working with kids when I began my job in the Department of Education as a Paraprofessional. I've been working in this field for three years now. This job has taught me how to care for all types of children from all different grade and age ranges. In my spare time, I like to dance at different studios all over New York City! Photography is a new hobby that ive been diving into lately as well as swimming/yoga. My skills include patience, attentiveness and understanding. All three skills help me understand the child and how I can meet their needs emotionally, physically and mentally.
