About Alyssa

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching philosophy. I specialize in English, History, and essential study skills. I hold a graduate degree from Columbia University and my BA from Connecticut Collge. By fostering curiosity and celebrating small successes, I help students build the confidence necessary to master new skills. I believe open communication creates a collaborative environment that ensures success for every student. Seeing a student's confidence blossom as they grasp a difficult topic is the most rewarding part of my work, and I look forward to supporting your child's learning journey.
