About Alyssa

Everyone learns differently - some people respond better to 1-on-1 instruction and individualized methods. Being able to adapt methods based on what makes the most sense to the student is crucial as well as relating it to something that they are familiar with. I have experience working at a math tutoring company, for 5 years in addition to several years of working with children in a variety of settings. I have learned amazingly effective strategies for instructing and am also able to apply that to other subjects. I received incredibly high grades through high school and have graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Neurobiology with a plan to attend medical school in the next couple of years. I am looking to help students beyond the scope in any subject and any grade.
