About Alyssa

In 2017 I worked at Petoskey Independence Village as an activities assistant where I helped get the residents involved with our activities that the coordinator planned out. I got to know all my residents on a personal level and developed special friendships with them. Often spending one one one time with many. In 2019 I worked at Cheboygan the Brook as the Activities Coordinator. Here it was my responsibility to plan all the activities everyday for the residents based on their interests and what they already could do in their daily schedules. At both facilities I ensured residents safety at all times and often helped serve meals and with feedings. I really enjoyed getting to know all the residents and planning fun things for them to do to stay physically active and keep their minds sharp.
