About Alyssa

I'm 18 years old and currently preparing to begin online school this June to become a special education teacher. I've helped raise my two younger brothers from newborn stage, including one with autism and ADHD. Due to my mother's physical disability and seizures, I took on a major caregiving role early in life-learning responsibility, adaptability, and how to create a safe, supportive environment for children with different needs. Working with children is where I truly thrive. I focus on building strong, trusting connections while also maintaining structure and routine. I understand every family has its own rhythm and parenting style, and I'm very flexible and respectful of that. I'd love to work with all kinds of families. I understand, cultural needs/reatrictions, and preferences on what foods children eat, shows they watch, toys they play with. My goal is to support your household in a way that makes your life easier while helping your child feel safe, understood, and encouraged.
