Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am a 7th grade math and language arts teacher. I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2015 with a degree in elementary education. I student taught in 2nd and 4th grade classrooms, so I am pretty familiar with elementary standards. I also have a concentration in Spanish and studied it all throughout high school and college. Currently, I teach regular, co-taught and accelerated math, which means I cover 7th and 8th grade standards. I am experienced in providing reteaching for struggling learners and introducing challenges when appropriate. I am available to tutor outside of school hours (M-F) starting around 4pm, depending on your location. I also have weekend availability. I look forward to hearing from you!
