About Alyssa

I'd describe my personality as caring, reliable, and positive I like working with kids because I am able to learn and experience new things through their eyes. I'm looking for a job that is mainly flexible as a college student. I am a Psychology major with a minor in Child and Adolescents. I started working professionally with kids since June 2023. I worked as a summer camp counselor. I am currently working part time at the Children's Center as a teacher's aide. I mainly work with 2-year-olds but I have also worked with children ages 3 months to 6 years old. My first year at the center I worked with infants and my roles consisted of feeding, changing diapers, active play, narrations, and napping. Same roles apply with the toddlers but when it comes it play, I mainly supervise and redirect to ensure safe play. In my spare time, I like to go on walks with my dog, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.
