My experience with tutoring has been limited to elementary level to middle school. I did help students in high school with English and math, but not on a regular basis. All of my experience was for free. Those are my strongest scholastic skills, but I do enjoy science. I have taken a class on organization, time management and utilizing studying skills. I can help set up a weekly study and homework schedule and determine how the student best learns. I view education as an important part of life. I would love to work with younger children and high school students to help them love school and give them motivation for the future. I am a psychology major and I am looking into minoring in education.

Alyssa worked well with all four of my daughters from infancy to young adolescents. She was very kind and compassionate, but set clear boundaries and expectations. She did well developing literacy, social skills and play. She was helpful with our dogs too!
