About Alyssa

Hi, my name is Alyssa. I'm finishing occupational therapy school and currently completing an internship at an inpatient hospital, working with patients across acute care, rehab, and long-term care units. I assist with ADLs, mobility, adaptive equipment, and patient education to support independence. I also have experience in long-term acute care and home care, providing personalized, goal-driven interventions for patients with complex needs. Previously, I worked as a Rehab Tech at Tampa General Hospital's pediatric unit, supporting physical therapists and maintaining a safe environment. I also have two years of experience as a nanny, managing daily routines, school pickups, meals, and activities. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
