About Alyssa

I'm Alyssa and I graduated with my bachelor's in Elementary Education (K-8) this past year. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was really young because I grew up with a mother as a teacher. As I made my way through college I was a teacher assistant at a charter school here in Alaska. During the summer, I manage a summer camp for our municipality. I have experience working and helping kids with their schooling for over 5 years. Due to COVID this year, I have not had an opportunity to teach beyond my year of student teaching. Since I have not been able to find a job in the classroom I have been doing random tutoring positions here and there for my former students. I feel that I bring something special to the tutoring process and would love to help your children get on track, get ahead, learn something new, or whatever they need to succeed in their eyes! I would love to speak with you future about your child's needs. I respond quickly and can answer any questions you may have!
