Hi! I am a college sophomore at the University of Maryland. I am originally from a small town in New Hampshire called Peterborough. I adore children and have over five years of experience in childcare. I have strong communication skills and connect well with kids. I love to stay busy and enjoy working. Over the past few summers I have filled my time with babysitting/nannying, life guarding, teaching swimming lessons, and working for a cleaning business. These experiences have led me to become confident and adept in caring for children. In my free time I like to stay active and spend time outdoors. Alyssa is a wonderful sitter. She has watched my two young children frequently for both shorter and longer-term time period, over the past couple of years. She is punctual, attentive, kind, creative with the children - many a fort was built, my kids' favorite activity! Alyssa watched my kids for long days during remote learning periods of the pandemic, leading my 6-year old through endless Zoom transitions and independent work sessions. She's upbeat, friendly, and I felt completely relaxed knowing my children were in her care. My kids would cheer when I told them she was coming to hang out with them :). I highly recommend Alyssa!
