About Alyssa

I have been in childcare for the last seven years with experience in lesson planning, behavioral development, and of course FUN! Being the oldest of five siblings, it was only natural for me to move from older sibling and babysitter to children's birthday party organizer, camp counselor, day care teacher, and nanny. I have been a nanny through care. com before and had a lot of success up until I had to leave to go back to school. I have worked with kids of all ages and temperaments and would have no problem adapting right into your family routine. Although my degrees are in science fields, I have taken several courses on early childhood learning, been a student teacher for a public school system, and created and maintained several science based learning programs for various camps and day cares.
