About Alyssa

I and a Masters student at Duke working towards a MS in Environmental Management and Forestry. I have 10 years of experience working in various types of childcare, like babysitting, teaching in an after school STEM program, and caring for nursery children during Sunday school. I am happy to additionally help with Light Housekeeping, Laundry, or other things on your to-do list. A little bit about me, I have a BS in Psychology and Biology. I love nature and also was an athlete growing up, and am still very active today. I played many sports, like softball, volleyball, and I am a black belt in Tai Kwon Do. I love to incorporate active play to help empower kids in whatever helps them move. I also play guitar, sing, and create art in different mediums. Im happy to facilitate some creative activities for the little ones. Also, I have had a lot of experience tutoring throughout college and working for the after school STEM program called Generation Hope (in the Fort Worth area).
