About Alyssa

Hi my name is Alyssa! I have many years of experience working with children of all ages, needs, and backgrounds. Specifically, I worked for the Placentia-Yorba Linda school district for 6 years as a childcare teacher. I was a nanny for a family of 3 during the beginning of the COVID pandemic. I have been volunteering at Orangewood foster care in Orange with ages 5-17 years. Lastly, I have been volunteering weekly at my church with junior high kids 6-8th grades. My combined experiences working with children has allowed me to conduct games and activities, assist with homework and remote learning, help with reading and crafts, and meet children's basic daily needs like meals and exercise. I love working with children of all ages and making an impact on their growing minds and hearts.
