About Alyssa

Thank you for taking the time to look over my profile! I have over 12 years of experience working with children and families in various settings, from child development centers and occasional babysitting to hospital settings supporting children and families through their health care experiences. I am also a mama to three amazing children, ages 6, 5, and 3, as well as a 4-year-old fur-child. :D My philosophy of caring for children includes respecting children as the worthy humans they are, and enriching their environments and experiences by providing developmentally appropriate activities to support their growth and development. I am also very passionate about supporting and encouraging emotional intelligence. I believe that all emotions are valid, and that behaviors are children's communication of unmet needs. My goal is to ensure that children in my care feel safe, loved, and supported. I look forward to supporting your family!
