About Alyssa

I am empathetic, gentle, and creative. I love spending time with kiddos because it gives me a fuller perspective of the world and opportunities to learn, grow, love, and mentor. I'm looking to connect to vibrant, hopeful, explorative families in the community. At 10, I started working with kids and have loved babysitting on and off over the years. My favorite thing is becoming part of families and growing together. I've also loved leading small groups for kiddos and youth in church ministries. Cooking and baking is my top hobby. I also love walking in nature, reading, writing, playing violin, and doing art projects--most recently watercolor. I carry a soft, quiet, confident energy. I take everything in and observe. Once a connection is formed, I love to be a bold encourager, graceful challenger, energetic enthusiast, and imaginative adventurer. I seek to understand the thoughts and emotions of the children in my care and create space for conversations.
