About Alyssa

Nurturing young minds is my passion! For over three years, I've had the joy of caring for children aged newborn to 11. I have my associates degree in Teaching and am going to graduate with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education this upcoming December. I am comfortable caring for up to five children at a time. Right now I work in my church's preschool class and I teach part time at a homeschool group. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, puzzles, and educational activities. I am happy to prepare meals, help with light housekeeping, and engage in crafts. I communicate with parents using their preferred method and follow their lead on household rules. I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I also know Sign Language. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. Ultimately, I strive to positively impact children's lives and would love to discuss how I can support your family!
