About Alyssa

I am a social worker by education and experience with a love for working with children and their families. My roles as a social worker have been diverse; I have worked in the criminal legal system, in community mental health, and with older adults in hospice care. I proudly hold my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Pittsburgh. I began applying for my MSW when I was working as a Lead Educator at a local daycare (where I worked with preschool age children) since I enjoyed working with children and wanted to make an impact on children's lives and their larger environment. I am now looking for part-time to full-time roles as a babysitter/nanny and am looking forward to building relationships with children and their families. I have been told that I have a warm, calm, and peaceful presence; I am patient, and a strong, transparent communicator.
