About Alyssa

I'd describe my personality as creative, thorough, and kind. I am a 22-year-old college student, working towards becoming a speech-language pathologist. In my spare time, when I'm cozy at home, I like to paint and watch documentaries. I also love to bake and cook. I love working with kids because they are little beacons of light, they are so contagiously joyous and energetic. I started working with kids when I was 14 years old, volunteering at a daycare that was owned by a family friend. I floated through the different age groups and helped the lead teachers with whatever they needed assistance with. During this time I learned a lot about child-safety laws in daycares. After this, I often babysat for friends and family members. Your family should know that I am a dependable person that loves to care for others, and I want to meet your family's childcare needs. My skills include creativity, patience, and problem-solving. I also have a knack for putting babies and kiddos down for naps!
