I found my passion for caring for the elderly in 2018 when I started working the night shift at a nursing home in their memory care unit. After my first week, I knew I had found a work that I loved. There was a lot for me to learn and I was eager to know it all; hospice cares, Alzheimer's/dementia cares. After moving on from that nursing home I began working in home health care which is a lot slower paced and much more personal, which I found to make the job all the more enjoyable. It is always a blessing to care for and ensure the comfort of the matriarchs and patriarchs of families.
