About Alyssa

Hi there! My name is Alyssa. I have multiple years of experience caring for children from infancy through teen years. As the youngest of 4 siblings, I have been caring for nieces and nephews for over a decade! I also worked for several years as a theatre camp counselor where I cared for children within the 6-9 age group, and also directed children ages 10 and up. I spent a year as a Board of Education substitute teacher where I taught classes K-8, and I have also worked full-time as a private tutor for a 4th-grade distance learner with ADHD. I am more than comfortable helping with homework and test prep, if necessary. I am very artistic and am a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design where I earned my MFA in Performing Arts. I have been involved in musical theatre since childhood, so singing, dancing, and playing make-believe is right up my alley! I look forward to meeting your family!
