About Alyssa

I'd describe my personality as kind, thoughtful and attentive to detail. I like working with kids because they are brilliant, loving and imaginative. I get so much joy from listening to their ideas and helping them create their own little worlds. Working with kids brings out the playful, lighthearted part of my spirit. I'm looking for a part time job that is accommodating of my school schedule, in which mutual trust and respect are prioritized. I started working with kids when I was a teenager as a camp counselor. In more recent years I have worked with a range of toddlers to highschool aged students teaching both in-school and after school art programs all across San Francisco. In my spare time, I like to draw and paint, work on my art, go on long walks with my dogs, and spend time in nature! One thing you should know about me is I am very patient. My skills include creativity and activity planning, positive behavior guidance and age-appropriate communication.
