Although I have finished my schooling, I am passionate about teaching others. I have had formal tutoring experiences with students kindergarten - tenth grade. I've also done informal tutoring through school-based programs. I understand the importance of meeting each student where he/she is at, including learning what his/her interests are, in order to make our time together productive and fun. Alyson is a breath of fresh air. We love her techniques and how she interacts with our daughter. She has been tutoring our daughter (4th grade) twice weekly since September 2019. She lays out what they plan to do during their time together that day so my daughter knows the expectations and she is SUPER patient. I would recommend Alyson to anyone.
