About Alyson

Hi! My name is Alyson and am a 1st grade teacher Brentwood, Ca I have a BS in Business/Technology and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. My current tutoring focus is Math K-6. Even before I starting teaching, I have always been involved in the classroom which helped me transition into teaching as I was able to watch successful educators and adapt their methods when in the class room. Each child learns differently and I have the ability to personalize the way I teach to just them. My philosophy is to find the areas that they struggle and give them 1:1 instruction using research based methods and techniques . I am a patient, loving, and caring mom who has the ability to put children at ease. I look forward to working with you and your family.
