About Alyson

I've always been someone who enjoys helping others, so becoming a caregiver felt like a natural fit for me. Over the past five years, I've loved getting to know the children and families I've worked with and being someone they can count on. Watching children learn, grow, and develop their own personalities is one of the most rewarding parts of caregiving, and I love being a positive and dependable person in their lives. As I work toward becoming a social worker, I hope to build a career centered around supporting others. Caregiving has allowed me to gain meaningful experience while doing something I truly enjoy. I'm CPR, First Aid, and AED certified through my experience as a lifeguard, and I strive to create a safe, caring, and encouraging environment for every child. I'd describe myself as organized, compassionate, and hardworking. In my free time, I enjoy staying active at the gym, reading, and coloring as a way to relax, recharge, and stay creative.
