Hi there! I am currently working as a waitress for the summer but am looking to get back into nannying. previous to this summer I was with the same family from age 4 months to 3 years old. They moved to Florida at the beginning of the summer which is when I started my current job. My experience with nannying goes back to High School. Once it was time for me to get my first job I knew I wanted to be a nanny. I have had several different "lives" when it comes to the jobs I have had. I have gone from being a shift lead and part of management , a licensed benefit advisor helping patients, and so on. None of those other "lives" were ever for me, though. Nothing makes me happier or makes me feel more fulfilled than to help little babes grow, learn, and explore. Please let me know if I could expand on any topics or answer any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!

We feel so lucky to have been able to work with Alysa. Simply put, she made our lives better over the last two years. It takes a special kind of person to be able to balance the breadth of responsibilities her job included. Alysa cared for our son with a generous and kind heart starting when he was four months old and for over a year she also took on the role of House Manager where she supported our whole family. Alysa's patience with our son was limitless. When he was having a tough day she used it as a teaching opportunity to help him work through his feelings. She was also a constant partner to me and my wife as we all tried to grow in our role as caregivers by sharing the latest thing she learned, be it from a book or just through trial and error while hanging out with the little dude. Alysa took tremendous pride in her work. I only ever saw the quality of her output increase over time. It was impressive to watch how she constantly pushed herself to improve even if it's the hundredth time she has done something - performing smarter, faster, or more efficiently. Any task Alysa takes on is done to the best of her ability which, inevitably, far surpasses expectations. Working in someone else's home presents a unique set of challenges because the work environment is immensely personal and important to the employer. This means that any choice or decision made should involve thinking not only of what the employee believes is the correct course of action, but balancing that with how the employee thinks the employer would want the problem solved. That type of problem solving requires a level of empathy and understanding far beyond the basics. Alysa's strong decision making skills have set her apart from anyone else we have ever employed. She strikes the perfect balance between taking action and asking clarifying questions. She shows ownership and autonomy with her work, while also knowing which questions to ask to ensure the best result. I believe Alysa is capable of whatever she sets her mind to and anyone would be grateful to have her as part of their team.
