About Alvaro

Hey there, my name is Alvaro! I am a recent graduate (Biology), am trilingual, am pre-med (pediatrics interest), can drive (my parents are driving instructors so I'm quite good), and am Provider-level CPR certified! I'd describe my personality as bubbly, "down to clown", and attentive! In my spare time, I like to run, hike, swim, & go to the beach. I like working with kids because I have a very close relationship with my own nieces and nephews (fun fact, I have 10)! In the future I aspire to be a pediatrician, so I believe there is tons to learn by hanging out with and deeply caring for kids in my community. My little nephew (4 y/o) is my world, I frequently care for him and he is a dual immersion student. Some of my favorite family-identified traits are 1) being known as the "fun tio" because of how playful I can get, 2) being a good and responsible cook, and 3) being empathetic and able to understand child needs.
