My interest when wanting to work with children started when I worked at an EEC for LAUSD. I was a custodian at the time, and I would see the teachers enjoy what they were doing. I got my credentials for child development and I've been working at a daycare for about 3 years now. When I started, I was put in the toddler classes, so I've had experience with toddlers here and there, but now I'm permanently in the infant classes where I've gained most of my experience working with 3-month-olds growing up to a year. I definitely enjoy it more working with babies because I like to shape their minds by teaching them baby signs, doing arts and crafts, and read books with them!
