About Alma

Hello, I'm Alma! I'm a kind, compassionate, and caring person born and raised in Panama. As the oldest of my siblings, caregiving has always been a part of my day-to-day. My professional child care experience expands across all age groups (from newborns to teenagers), including kids with special needs. I have worked in a variety of positions (I've been an Au Pair, Nanny shared/private, tutor and teacher), both locally and internationally (Spain, Panama, Sint Maarten, & Boston). I have worked as an Au Pair and nanny in Spain/Boston; I volunteered as a TA at a Spanish immersion school in Boston; I have worked at an IB International School in Panama as a grade 4 homeroom teacher and a shadow teacher for children with behavioral, developmental, and learning disorders; and I also volunteered at a Montessori daycare in Sint Maarten. These experiences helped me grow as a care provider. I loved teaching through play and exploration, and I love helping children reach their highest potential.
