About Allyson

I'm a silly, caring, and passionate person who genuinely loves working with children. I believe being a caregiver is about more than supervision--it's about creating a safe, fun environment and becoming someone a child can trust and remember. I've worked with kids since I was a teenager, caring for my younger cousins from 3 months old through their current years, babysitting neighborhood children, and working full-time at a daycare. I'm currently looking for a flexible position that works alongside my full-time job. Outside of work, I'm an avid reader and have loved books since childhood. I also have Type 1 diabetes and have lived with it for 17 years, so I'm comfortable caring for children with diabetes and understand the importance of attentive care and routines. My strengths include active supervision, patience, empathy, communication, hygiene management, and maintaining routines. Most importantly, I want every child I care for to feel safe, supported, and have fun!
