About Ally

My experience caring for others began with an after-school babysitting position for an elementary-aged girl. This position was full of fun, game playing and evolved into loyalty and friendship. I became the big sister she never had. This was the beginning of my passion to serve others. I provided summer daycare for two boys; one with a diagnosis of autism. I eagerly implemented engaging activities focusing on teamwork, social skills, self-care, mediation and conflict resolution. During my senior year of high school, I successfully balanced earning high honor roll grades, competitive dance practice and an after school child care position. For this position, I created a stimulating, safe after-school environment for siblings (one with special needs); tutored; served healthy snacks; managed conflicts and behavioral needs. These opportunities allow me to utilize understanding, patience, and compassion to serve families with consistent, dedicated and reliable care for children.
