Caring for others is more than a job; it's a calling I discovered while watching my mom care for my grandparents. Those experiences instilled in me the importance of respect and dignity in care. With five years of experience, I provide respite care, hospice services, and home health support. I am also comfortable with light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and physical activity. I am experienced in de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion, and incorporating memory care activities. I am patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented. I communicate with families using their preferred method, often through written daily reports. I build connections with care recipients by respecting their independence, wants, and needs. I have some college education, NC certified CNA and current certifications in CPR and First Aid. I look forward to bringing my skills and caring heart to your family.
