About Allison

Hello. My name is Allison. I am mom to a daughter now in college and am now empty nesting. While I am not clinically trained, I have worked in healthcare operations for hospitals and medical practices for over 20 years . Also, my mother is a nurse, so I have been exposed to healthcare all of my life. While growing up, I helped care for my grandparents who had dementia and could no longer drive or be left alone. My father was diagnosed with cancer several years ago and I helped care for him alongside his medical team and hospice nurse. I have affinity toward elders that has been instilled in me very early on. As I thought about ways to fill my time and give back, I recalled all the ways I have cared for others over the years. I also know first hand how challenging it is to find someone who is consistent, reliable, and trustworthy to care for your loved one. I am excited to offer a helping hand to a family and companionship or care to an adult or elder.
