About Allison

In addition to prior babysitting experience, I started working with kids at my local YMCA in 2011. I worked in the Nursery and Adventure Center, locations where parents could drop their kids off for up to two hours while they utilized the facilities. In the Nursery, I looked after children ranging from 6 months to 5 years and in the Adventure Center, I watched children from 6-12 years old. For three summers, I was a Summer Camp Counselor at this same YMCA. Here I tended to the needs of children ages 5-12 for up to 10 hours per day. I was responsible for organizing and implementing group activities while ensuring a safe and healthy environment at all times. I am a creative and energetic person which makes me a fun caregiver, but more importantly, I am kind, responsible and hard-working. I understand the importance of being a good role model for those younger than myself, and look forward to working with you and your children!
