About Allison

Hello! I am a Certified Social Studies and K-12 Special Education Teacher taking a break from the classroom after the birth of my son. I hold a Masters degree in Education and have worked as an educator for the past five years largely in a special education setting. This work has given me extensive experience creating one-on-one and small group lessons, a skill which I hope to utilize as a tutor! I pride myself on my ability to meet each learner's unique needs with a positive, creative attitude. My favorite part of what I do is uncovering exactly what each student needs to not only master the curriculum, but encounter authentic, meaningful learning.
