About Allison

Summer 2010 I was a school teacher for 13 children in a summer program. I am now an elementary teacher. I majored in elementary education K-5 (all subjects) and language arts (6-8th grades) and love working with children. I have also tutored and mentored many children. I have been a mentor in the Big Brother, Big Sister and Boys and Girls Club of America. I was a tutor for the Grand Rapids HOST program which teaches children below reading level learn to read. I now live in Jackson, MI while attending Eastern Michigan University online. I am pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.
