In the 3 years that we've been working together, Alli has become a part of the family and my two kids (3 year old daughter and 1 year old son) are treated like her adopted grandchildren. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe Allison. She’s been a gift from above to our family, and at this point she is a de facto member or our family. 

As a first-time mom (one in her mid 40s who had just welcomed her miracle child into the world), the whole process of hiring a caregiver was daunting. I met several nice candidates, but once I met Allison it just clicked and I knew it was the perfect fit. And, wow, how that initial gut feeling proved to be right. 

Allison started when my daughter was 3 weeks old and helped this new momma adapt to life with a newborn. From the moment you meet her, it's clear that Allison’s affection is genuine – she authentically cares for your child. You see it in the way she holds a baby, sings silly songs, actively plays, and anticipates needs. I credit my daughter’s obsessive love of books to Allison starting to read to her while she was only a month old. 

Allison is not only loving as a caregiver, she’s also exceptionally trustworthy. She’s punctual, flexible (if I hit traffic, need to modify our schedule for an appointment, etc.), and responsible. One example of many: she took a class on car seat safety on her own time because she wanted to be certain she could install it safely! 

She’s also extremely thoughtful – she always remembered to celebrated holidays with sweet and generous gifts and she often brought homemade goodies because she was excited to introduce my daughter to new foods. 

When our family was planning to travel to Italy with our then 8-month old daughter, we were thrilled that Allison was able to join. It was an extraordinary adventure and I’m so grateful that she was with us. 

We consider Allison a family member at this point. She is very loyal and committed to her own family, and I think that’s how she treats those in her care. She takes her work seriously and is very professional but it’s also clear she loves her work. 

Allison understands child development at an expert level, and we worked as a team to sleep train my baby (recommending books to read on the subject matter) and we had that same collaboration on lots of milestones: moving to solids, etc. She proactively seeks out brain-nourishing activities (walks in the park, story time at the library) and helps suggest age appropriate toys. I love that feeling of partnership where Allison is truly advocating for your child, not just watching her and making sure she’s safe and fed and content. I saw a real bond form between the two and that’s a priceless gift for a working momma.  

That bond has only strengthened over the years. Allison has been with our family for over 4 years. She has been there through so many pivotal moments of my daughter's early years that I've lost count. She helped with potty training, the "terrible twos", and everything in between. She always anticipated and prepped us for transitions, suggesting new products/goods, recommending behavioral techniques that helped immensely, and so much more.

I have complete trust and faith in Allison. At this point, with my daughter being more independent, I feel 100% comfortable leaving my daughter at Allison's home for overnights when I need to travel for work. I thank my lucky stars that we have someone like her who welcomes Frankie into her home with the highest level of love & care & protection. My daughter absolutely adores spending time with her and also relishes time with her wonderful husband, Danny.

The best caretakers end up feeling like family and that is how we feel about Allison. We are heartbroken to break our habit of seeing her regularly every week as my daughter will start 5-day pre-school this fall. But we will continue to nurture the bond that my daughter has with Allison through caretaking visits, albeit last frequent. It's so important to us that Allison stay a part of our daughter's life.

There's not much more to say! Any family would be immeasurably enriched by having Allison join them as a caretaker. She is the best.




Allie was a true godsend. She took care of our son when he was 5 months old on for 2 to 3 days a week while I worked. She is loving, dependable, detail oriented, trustworthy, flexible. I could go on forever. We are so sad that we will no longer get to see her every week but she will continue to be a dear friend for years to come. I am beyond grateful for the wonderful care she gave my family when we needed it most.

Allie is, put simply, the dream nanny. She lovingly takes care of my daughter like one of her own. It's hard to put into words how wonderful of a person and caregiver Allie is. Allie is a unicorn caregiver: the type of nanny you always dreamed about but never actually thought existed. Ali is the best! I have never felt more comfortable leaving my one year old son with her. She really was so great and accommodating to all of our family needs. Being a first time mom, I was so nervous to leave my son to go back to work - but Ali made the transition seamless. My 1 year old loved having her come over each week! She incorporates all developmental milestone learning blocks into her play-time with the children. She really makes it easy for you to feel comfortable going out, as you know your child will be in good hands. Impeccable care and is so fun, loving, energetic, and clean! Can't say enough wonderful things about Allison!

Allison arrived at a time when we had our first baby, and my husband was traveling most of the time (4-5 days/week). I was searching for someone warm, caring and dependable to care for my son.
