About Allison

Hi! My name is Allie. I am currently a junior studying political science and social work at Pitt. I have a lot of experience working with kids. I have been babysitting since I was 13, and for the last 3 summers I have worked at a day care with kids from the ages of 18 months-5 years. I have experience with everything from diaper changing and feeding to playing games and planning fun activities. I'm passionate about supporting families and creating a safe, stimulating environment for children to thrive. My previous babysitting and daycare roles have solidified my desire to positively impact young lives. I believe in open and effective communication with parents. I prioritize following the parents' lead in enforcing household rules, ensuring consistency and respect for their parenting style. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
